Over the last decade manufacturers have woken up to the necessity of creating environmental policies which aim both to respect the world in which we live and work and also national and international legislation governing our work.

Aluchem has decided to break new ground in reducing the impact its products have on the environment by putting its 30-years’ of experience to work for those companies who believe environmental protection to be a daily duty and all those who wish to be ready to adapt to legislative stimuli.

This philosophy has given birth to the Alubio range of products; products which are formulated 100% in accordance with the OECD 301B method, which demands complete biodegradability within an arc of 28 days.

Machine efficiency is an important factor for achieving a balanced use of natural resources.

Aluchem is able to develop biodegradable products which have the same performance as the best synthetic lubricants produced by Aluchem in over 30 years of work, but with biodegradable characteristics, thus reducing the environmental footprint of these products.

Aluchem, as early as the 1990s, was the first Italian company to formulate a complete set of NSF registered non-toxic lubricants for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
In 2001 it placed its first biodegradable lubricant on the market and today is recognized as a pioneer in the field of low environmental impact bio-lubricants.

Aluchem, as the proprietor of both the formulation and the production cycle, of biolubricants is able to develop a great range of customized solutions in the field of biodegradable products.

It is the only Italian company to follow the OECD 301 B method in its research and development structures.

OECD 301 B guidelines: we are the only Italian company which has a laboratory equipped with the instrumentation required to assess the actual biodegradability of our products according to this method set out by the European community.
